Snow day!

Woof…… Yeyyyyyy today we had a snow day, it was pawsome!

Last night when we went out in the garden, for our last poos and wees before bedtime, it was snowing just a little bit. This morning, when Mummy woke us up, she let us out as usual, WOW we couldn’t believe it, there was at least three million inches of snow!!! We all ran about like looneys, well that’s what Mummy said, I don’t know what a looney looks like but it was fun being one.

Mummy had to go off to work, poor Mummy:( so we pretended that we were very tired and snuggled down for a snooze. When she’d gone me and Bella ran about, jumping up and down, until Daddy put his gloves, boots and coat on and took us in the garden:)

We made a mahoosive snowman…

And a little wabbity snow dog….

We chased snowballs, chased each other round the garden, until we got too cold and had to go back inside. Bella really luffs the snow, when I was snoozings on the sofa, she was back out running round the garden again! Silly puppy.

Tonight I went on Facebooky and asked all my doggie friends if they would like their snow piccys featuring in my blog, here’s a few, they look like they’ve been having fun too.

Aren’t they all fabulous, they luffs snow, just like me and Bella:)

Obsessive compulsive!

Woof…….. Can you believe it Mummy says I’m an obsessive compulsive terrier! What on earth does that mean? She says I must have Border Collie jeans in me, jeans? I never wear jeans, rood I say!

She says this just because I like to play ball, really Mummy!!

Personally I can’t see anything wrong with that, ok I might like to play ball in the morning, in the afternoon, errrr and in the evening, but sometimes I play with my other toys too, surely that’s not being obsessive compulsive? Before I had my puppies I was considering entering the Olympics I’m sure they do ball catching. I think I would be perfect cos I can bounce really, really, really high, higher than all my friends.

Because it’s winter I’m having to practice bouncing indoors it’s not as good as outside but better than nothing. By spring I’ll be much fitter and ready to start my Olympic training.

Check out my photos and see what you think about my ball skills, Peaches Beckham that’s me……

Please comment and let me know what you think, am I obsessive compulsive?

Socialising Bella

Woof…… You've probably realised by now that I have a ickle baby daughter called Bella, she is Mummy and Daddy's 6th Jack Russell. Mummy said that Bella would need to be socialised, I wondered what on earth that was, I mean would it hurt, would she be safe? Mummy explained that it was all about her meeting other doggies, big ones and wabbity ones like us so that when she grows up she won't be scared. I did think this would be a good idea and gave my approval.

Mummy decided against actual obedience training classes as we were already coping with that, she is house trained and can sit and give her paw, the only problem we have is that she doesn't like to walk on her lead! She's excellent off the lead following us everywhere and will come back when called but freezes when her lead is on:(

Me and Mummy did some looking on the interwebby fing and found a lovely society that's for show doggies, they do ringcraft classes every Wednesday, we did think that it would be perfect especially as Mummy wants to show Bella in some fun dog shows, I do dog shows too, I have lots of rosettes:)

So last week was Bella's first time at the class! She was quite shy and overwhelmed by it all, there were some mahoosive dogs called Tibetan Mastiffs they were as big as a Shetland Pony!!!! Fortunately her brother Harvey came too, he is a bit more outgoing than Bella so she relaxed a bit watching him play with the other big dogs. Little wabbity doggies like us have to stand on a table to be judged, I don't think the judges like bending down as they are usually very old! So Bella stood on the table whilst the training lady pretended to be the judge, she was very nice and gave her kisses and cuddles, then she had to trot up and down the mat a bit like a show pony, Bella didn't like this bit so Mummy and the nice lady bribed her with treats (I may try that trick!) so that she would think its ok to walk on your lead. She started to relax and got better by the end of the evening and got very tired too.

Last night she went again. When they arrived a friend had also brought their ickle 12 week old puppy called Lily she is a Chihuahua/Jack Russell cross and very, very cute! Bella said 'hi' and because she's older she felt it was her job to tell Lily what training was all about, off she trotted into the hall with Lily following, much more confident than last week, she showed Lily how to stand on the mats and where you went for a sit down.

This is Lily….

This week Bella decided to talk to the big dogs, very carefully though, Harvey came too and he also brought his big adopted sister Libby, they met Alice the Standard Wirehaired Daschund, Burta the Spanish Water Dog, a Red Setter, a Shiba Inu and a funny looking dog called a Puli, they look like they have dreadlocks! This time she was happily standing on the table like a proper show dog and walked on her lead without bribery, well only a little!

This is Harvey and Libby, you can see that he's wagging his tail so much it's a blur:)

They made quite a big group of wabbity dogs…

I am very proud of my baby Bella I do hope she wins some rosettes. Speak soon… Peaches xx

Bella’s photo shoot!

Woof, just before Christmas little Bella went with Mummy a Daddy to look at their friend Chris’s new photography studio in the beautiful grounds of Renishaw Hall. Whilst they were there he very kindly took some photos of her, how could he resist she was about 10 weeks old then and sooo cute!

Bella really enjoyed herself, Chris laid on the floor and Mummy let her go a few feet away so she ran towards him, she thought it was a fab game and jumped all over Chris when she got to him. She sat in a tin bath and had fun jumping back out and also had some shots whilst Mummy held her. At the time Mummy and Daddy thought how on earth will he get one decent shot as she was wriggling and running around the studio, we were all so stunned when we saw these photos of her, I am particularly proud of my baby Bella, she definitely has my looks;)

If you would like a shoot with your doggy friends then give Chris a call, you can have a studio session or outside in the beautiful gardens and parkland of the hall, Peaches x

Walkies!

Woof…. Today we finally had a luffly, none windy, walkies with our friends Rommel and Tilly, it was baby Bella's first proper walk with them. She really luffed Tilly and followed her all the time especially cos Tilly likes sticks!

This is Rommel and Tilly in the river, it was too deep for us cos we is ickle.. Rommel is a German Short Haired Pointer except he's not German, weird!! Tilly is like a mix up of different dogs, she is a rescue doggie:)

We saw some deer, we're not allowed to chase the deer. Bella didn't know this as she's a baby, she wanted to go and sniff them, she set off running and tumbled over a clump of grass and went head over tail, it was really funny:) Daddy shouted her and she came straight back like a good girl.

These are Fallow deer.

These are Red deer.
When we finished our walk our hoomans go up to the cafe and have a cuppa and cake! It's rather outrageous that we don't get any, Mummy said it was the wrong type of cake huh how can it be the wrong type of cake!!!
This is baby Bella, she gets wrapped in a blanky cos she's small and she was tired.
Have a luffly day everyone. Peaches xx

A windy morning!

This morning has been really, really windy, it has blown our neighbours greenhouse over and we acquired someone’s wheelie bin!

We’re feeling a bit bored because it’s too nasty to go for walkies yet, me and Bella have been amusing ourselves by play fighting over a chew it’s rather fun. While I was having a little snooze Bella seems to have discovered the fish that live in the corner in their tank, I find them rather boring, But she seems to feel the need to try and communicate with them (silly puppy) here is a video of her talking to the fish, tee hee…. Peaches xx

My new blog!

Woof! how exciting this is my first post eek….

What to write about mmmm… well today has been very windy poor little Bella nearly got blowned away! and our ears did blow off, so if you sees them anywhere could you let us know.
