Happy Easter

Woof……

Yesterday, despite the awful weather, we did go to a fun dog show. We got lots of rosettes and some yummy treats.

I got 2nd in Best Bitch, I also went in the Waggiest Tail, but as it was raining, cold an horrible I was a bit reluctant to keep wagging my tail, I got 5th place:(

Bella was a little superstar and got 2nd in Puppy 12months and under, she also got =5th in Best Pedigree:)

Panda just did the Veteran 7+ class and she got =6th.

The best class was Best Pair of Dogs (that look alike), me and Bella went in it, and guess what, we only went and won it!! And guess what else, we both got a red rosette each, pawsome!! I luffs rosettes and we won a goody bag of treats too.

This is our stash of rosettes and treats

Naughty Mummy has been turning us into Easter Bunnies, I'm not really impressed, humph!
It's very important not to let your pooches eat Easter Eggs, Mummy says it would make us very poorly and sick:( We wouldn't like that! I hope the weather improves cos Mummy is not at work, yeyyyy, fun times.
Anyways Happy Easter from all of us, luff Peaches xx

Very Good Girls

Woof….. Hey guess what? Tonight I went to training with Bella, it was pawsome!

Mummy said I needed to go, because we are going to a proper dog show this weekend and I needed to practice. When I had to be judged on the table, I was a little bit scared:( then Mummy did remember that the last time I was on a table like that, was at the vetandhairy, when I got left there to have my babies!!!!

I was ok after I had treats and cuddles from Yvonne who was pretending to be the judging hooman:)
Mummy was really pleased with Bella as she was much more confident this week….
Our friend Daisy was there too, Daisy had won first prizes at the weekend, amazeballs…..
Wish us luck at the dog show, eeeek!!! Speak soon, luff Peaches xx

More Socialising Bella

Woof…. We've had a busy few days this week, well Bella has, she has a better social life than all of us put together and she's only 18 weeks old!

First she went to a Puppy Party, this was run by our Vetandhairy people's, these parties be really important for pupsters so they can learn to behave around other doggies and not be scared of different size ones. Bella's brother Harvey came too, there was a wabbity sized Border Terrier called Koopa and a Cavapoo called Ruby, they were very nice, wabbity sized Koopa yapped a lot though!

The Vetandhairy nursey running the party was helping when Bella and Harvey were borned, she was very pleased to meet them again. Bella was very excited when she got home cos she got a certificate for attending, she even went to bed with it:)

Then on Wednesday she went to the Ringcraft classes at Yew Tree Canine Society hooman Mummy and Daddy were really pleased with her and told me she was trotting on the mat and standing on the judging table like a proper professional show pupster (beams with pride). There is a show soon and we are all going, we can't wait! There's a fancy dress class, if anyone has any ideas for us to go as please let us know.
Yesterday Bella was play fighting with me and one of her teeth fell out! It's ok though it's her baby tooth, she put it under her blanky and a tooth fairy came and left her a whole £1.00, lucky Bella!
Hope you all have a luffly weekend, speak soon luff Peaches xx

Obsessive compulsive!

Woof…….. Can you believe it Mummy says I’m an obsessive compulsive terrier! What on earth does that mean? She says I must have Border Collie jeans in me, jeans? I never wear jeans, rood I say!

She says this just because I like to play ball, really Mummy!!

Personally I can’t see anything wrong with that, ok I might like to play ball in the morning, in the afternoon, errrr and in the evening, but sometimes I play with my other toys too, surely that’s not being obsessive compulsive? Before I had my puppies I was considering entering the Olympics I’m sure they do ball catching. I think I would be perfect cos I can bounce really, really, really high, higher than all my friends.

Because it’s winter I’m having to practice bouncing indoors it’s not as good as outside but better than nothing. By spring I’ll be much fitter and ready to start my Olympic training.

Check out my photos and see what you think about my ball skills, Peaches Beckham that’s me……

Please comment and let me know what you think, am I obsessive compulsive?

Speak soon, Peaches xxx

These amazing photos were very kindly taken for us by Emily Serrell, thank you x

Socialising Bella

Woof…… You've probably realised by now that I have a ickle baby daughter called Bella, she is Mummy and Daddy's 6th Jack Russell. Mummy said that Bella would need to be socialised, I wondered what on earth that was, I mean would it hurt, would she be safe? Mummy explained that it was all about her meeting other doggies, big ones and wabbity ones like us so that when she grows up she won't be scared. I did think this would be a good idea and gave my approval.

Mummy decided against actual obedience training classes as we were already coping with that, she is house trained and can sit and give her paw, the only problem we have is that she doesn't like to walk on her lead! She's excellent off the lead following us everywhere and will come back when called but freezes when her lead is on:(

Me and Mummy did some looking on the interwebby fing and found a lovely society that's for show doggies, they do ringcraft classes every Wednesday, we did think that it would be perfect especially as Mummy wants to show Bella in some fun dog shows, I do dog shows too, I have lots of rosettes:)

So last week was Bella's first time at the class! She was quite shy and overwhelmed by it all, there were some mahoosive dogs called Tibetan Mastiffs they were as big as a Shetland Pony!!!! Fortunately her brother Harvey came too, he is a bit more outgoing than Bella so she relaxed a bit watching him play with the other big dogs. Little wabbity doggies like us have to stand on a table to be judged, I don't think the judges like bending down as they are usually very old! So Bella stood on the table whilst the training lady pretended to be the judge, she was very nice and gave her kisses and cuddles, then she had to trot up and down the mat a bit like a show pony, Bella didn't like this bit so Mummy and the nice lady bribed her with treats (I may try that trick!) so that she would think its ok to walk on your lead. She started to relax and got better by the end of the evening and got very tired too.

Last night she went again. When they arrived a friend had also brought their ickle 12 week old puppy called Lily she is a Chihuahua/Jack Russell cross and very, very cute! Bella said 'hi' and because she's older she felt it was her job to tell Lily what training was all about, off she trotted into the hall with Lily following, much more confident than last week, she showed Lily how to stand on the mats and where you went for a sit down.

This is Lily….

This week Bella decided to talk to the big dogs, very carefully though, Harvey came too and he also brought his big adopted sister Libby, they met Alice the Standard Wirehaired Daschund, Burta the Spanish Water Dog, a Red Setter, a Shiba Inu and a funny looking dog called a Puli, they look like they have dreadlocks! This time she was happily standing on the table like a proper show dog and walked on her lead without bribery, well only a little!

This is Harvey and Libby, you can see that he's wagging his tail so much it's a blur:)

They made quite a big group of wabbity dogs…

I am very proud of my baby Bella I do hope she wins some rosettes. Speak soon… Peaches xx
