More Socialising Bella

Woof…. We've had a busy few days this week, well Bella has, she has a better social life than all of us put together and she's only 18 weeks old!

First she went to a Puppy Party, this was run by our Vetandhairy people's, these parties be really important for pupsters so they can learn to behave around other doggies and not be scared of different size ones. Bella's brother Harvey came too, there was a wabbity sized Border Terrier called Koopa and a Cavapoo called Ruby, they were very nice, wabbity sized Koopa yapped a lot though!

The Vetandhairy nursey running the party was helping when Bella and Harvey were borned, she was very pleased to meet them again. Bella was very excited when she got home cos she got a certificate for attending, she even went to bed with it:)

Then on Wednesday she went to the Ringcraft classes at Yew Tree Canine Society hooman Mummy and Daddy were really pleased with her and told me she was trotting on the mat and standing on the judging table like a proper professional show pupster (beams with pride). There is a show soon and we are all going, we can't wait! There's a fancy dress class, if anyone has any ideas for us to go as please let us know.
Yesterday Bella was play fighting with me and one of her teeth fell out! It's ok though it's her baby tooth, she put it under her blanky and a tooth fairy came and left her a whole £1.00, lucky Bella!
Hope you all have a luffly weekend, speak soon luff Peaches xx

A Traumatic Birth!

Woof………

As I promised in my last blog, it’s now time to tell you all about the traumatic birth of my puppies!

My pregnancy went really well, Mummy said I was very good and never complained, the real bonus was that I got fed THREE times a day, amazeballs!!

Anyways my due date arrived, but my babies didn’t want to come out. Then another day, and another, and another, finally Daddy phoned Mummy, cos she was at work, to tell her I was being restless. All afternoon I just couldn’t get comfy at all. Later I was allowed to go to bed upstairs, pawsome, so they could keep an eye on me. All night I was uncomfortable and kept telling Mummy. The next morning Mummy didn’t go to work, she stayed at home to help me. I was very restless and didn’t know where to lay, I finally snuggled on the back of the sofa.

About six o’clock in the evening I started to get really big pains in my tummy, it really hurt, but I was very brave. They got stronger and stronger, then I felt like I needed to push, I pushed and pushed, but nothing happened:( I kept sleeping and pushing then sleeping again, but still nothing. I looked at Mummy and said I can’t do it. Mummy asked a Vetandhairy friend what should she do, she told her maybe it was time to call our Vetandhairy, she said I needed to go and see her, it was almost eleven thirty at night, way past my bedtime!

Mummy and Daddy took me in the car, the nice Vetandhairy lady examined me (not nice) and said my puppies weren’t where they should be! She said I had to stay and have an operation to get them out of my tummy, it’s called a caesarean. I had some medicine that made me sleep, when I woke up two puppies were there, eek, and I had a zip in my tummy!!

Mummy collected me and my babies, but I was really, really sleepy. I didn’t want to bother with them, I didn’t know what to do, Mummy stayed up all night with me, she made the puppies have some of my milk every half hour and cleaned them for me. Mummy was worried I wouldn’t want my babies, but by morning I had woken up properly and thought, well I’ll just have a look at them, I did and I fell paws over tail in luff with them. I cleaned and cleaned them until they were shiny and fed them my milk, Mummy said I am the bestest Mummy ever:) Here’s some photos of my babies….

This is me cleaning them

This is Bella!

This is Harvey!

I hope you enjoyed my story, as you probably know we kept Bella and Harvey now lives with some luffly friends. Speak soon, Peaches xxx

Making puppies…..

Woof……

Today I thought I'd tell you all about how I made my puppies, it took a long time I can tell you and I wasn't very keen!

It's a very complicated and delicate subject, as you see I'm already ngaged, but he's not the father of my puppies!

I met Alan a very, very handsome terrier on Facebooky, we chatted and shared photos and eventually met at Burghley Horse Trials, then on Christmas Day 2013 he gave me this most bootiful blingy collar and we became ngaged:)

There was just one problem, Alan is a 98%er, he can't have puppies:(

Mummy spent a long time trying to find the perfect surrogate husband for me, it was really difficult as I'm very particular, and so is Mummy, after all I am a Princess.

In 2013 she eventually found a very handsome young man called Edward (Ted), when I next came into season I went to meet him. As I have said I am a Princess so I don't like boy doggies smelling my bottom, Aunty Twinkle had also told me making puppies wasn't at all nice so I was very, very scared! Ted was really nice, we chatted a bit and eventually I closed my eyes and held my breath………

Anyways 4 weeks later I went for a scan, it was like a tv that looked in my tummy, but there was nothing on the tv:( My tummy was empty, Mummy said I was just getting fat! Rood I say!

We had to wait over six more months before I went to see Ted again, as I am very quiet when in season it's not easy for Mummy to count the days until when they'll be some eggys ready in my tum, Mummy got some Canine Ovulation Pads, when she tested me I was ready at six days!!! The usual apparently is 11 – 12 days, I'm always different, so off we went and I had to close my eyes and hold my breath again……

This time Mummy didn't bother with the tv thingy again, as she said she just knew, here is me cooking my puppies….

Next time I'll tell you all about the birth of my puppies, it was very traumatic!
